As part of its implementation strategy, NSF has archived the Research Terms and Conditions (RTC), and the NSF Agency Specific Requirements.  Unless otherwise specified, the Grant General Conditions (GC-1)<https://www.nsf.gov/bfa/dias/policy/gc1/oct24.pdf> apply to all recipients of NSF grant awards, including Institutions of Higher Education, non-profit, non-academic organizations, for-profit organizations (other than Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer recipients), State and local governments, and Tribal Nations. The GC-1 will not be applied to NSF cooperative agreements or to NSF fellowship awards made to individuals.

Additionally, the RTC Prior Approval Matrix no longer will apply. Rather, all recipients of NSF grant awards must obtain prior written approval from NSF as specified in the NSF Prior Approval Matrix<https://www.nsf.gov/bfa/dias/policy/gc1/priorapprovals/oct24.pdf> and the award terms and conditions unless otherwise specified in the award notice.

The updated suite of award terms and conditions includes the:

  *   Grant General Conditions (GC-1);
  *   Cooperative Agreement Financial & Administrative Terms and Conditions (CA-FATC);
  *   Cooperative Agreement Modifications and Supplemental Financial and Administrative Terms and Conditions for Major Multi-User Research Facility Projects and Federally Funded Research and Development Centers;
  *   Cooperative Agreement Modifications and Supplemental Financial and Administrative Terms and Conditions for Mid-Scale Research Infrastructure Projects; and
  *   Special Terms and Conditions for Administration of NSF Conference or Travel Grants (FL 26).

The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Terms and Conditions, International Research Terms and Conditions (IRTC), and Special Terms and Conditions for Administration of NSF Conference or Travel Awards Made to International Organizations (FL 26 for IRTC) are forthcoming and will be issued at a later date.

NASA’s James West Space Telescope (JWST) Cycle 4 Proposal Preparation JWebbinars

In support of the JWST Cycle 4 Proposal Preparation, STScI is hosting the following JWebbinars:

California Department of Food and Agriculture Now Accepting Proposals For 2024 Ag Plate Grants

This program anticipates an estimated $180,000 in grant funding to promote agricultural education and leadership activities for students at the K-12, post-secondary, and adult education levels. The application deadline is Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PT.
