[Research] Cayuse Proposal-- Technical Difficulties? and California Air Resources Board (CARB) Research Solicitation

Are You Experiencing Trouble Accessing the Cayuse Proposal system?  Here is the solution

It has come to our attention that there is a new requirement to access Cayuse Proposal.  Specifically, you will need to be connected to GlobalProtect prior to logging into Cayuse.

If you do not have GlobalProtect on your computer, here are the instructions for access/download.

  1.  https://campusvpn.ucr.edu/global-protect/login.esp.
  2.  Once on the site, you will need to input: (a) your UCR credentials -- i.e., your UCR NetID and associated password; and (b) Duo two-factor authentication.

Once downloaded and connected to GlobalProtect following the duo two-factor authentication, you should be able to log into Cayuse utilizing the same credentials as you have in the past to access that proposal submission system.

Attached is a letter from the Research Division Chief, Elizabeth Scheehle. The announcement contains information on this year's solicitation as well as links to the solicitation landing page. A public meeting to discuss the solicitation and provide information on individual projects will be held on February 23, 2022, and all pre-proposals are due on March 14, 2022.

The California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) has released its fiscal year 2022-23 research solicitation. The projects included in the solicitation support CARB's regulatory priorities related to health, environmental justice, economics, air pollution, and climate change. A research budget of $3.8 million is anticipated to fund eight new projects and one white paper.
