RE:	Fiscal Year 2010-10 UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE ASSESSMENT RATES

The following are the assessment rates to fund the Unemployment
Insurance (UI) programs for the General Campus for fiscal year 2010-11:

General Funds: 0.45%

Other Funds: 0.54%

Federal Funds: 0.54%
	
The increase in cost is twofold based on extended Unemployment
Benefits approved by the Federal Government and on the increased
number of claims due to the effects of the State Budget crisis on our
campus. The amount of the claims continues to be unprecedented.
