Re: Guidelines - Mandatory Workplace Posters - Two New Additions - E-Verify <http://hr.ucr.edu/OnlineTools/docs/EverifyPosterEnglish.pdf> & Right to Work <http://hr.ucr.edu/OnlineTools/docs/RighttoWorkPosterEnglishpdf.pdf>

Since the University, as a federal contractor, must now comply with the E-Verify requirements (must verify the work status of an employee who is hired after November 6, 1986 and is directly performing work under a federal contract or subcontract that contains an E-Verify requirement clause), two new posters are now required and must be posted along with the other mandatory workplace posters. The required posters may be accessed below (If applicable, Spanish versions may be accessed on the Mandatory Permanent Posters for All Departments <http://www.humanresources.ucr.edu/default.asp?content=OnlineTools/UCR%20Mandatory%20Poster%20Matrix%20Feb%202009.html#Permanent> website).

1. E-Verify <http://hr.ucr.edu/OnlineTools/docs/EverifyPosterEnglish.pdf>

2. Right to Work <http://hr.ucr.edu/OnlineTools/docs/RighttoWorkPosterEnglishpdf.pdf>

As a reminder, all mandatory posters and guidelines may also be accessed on the following website.

1.	Posters listed in the Mandatory Permanent Posters for All Departments <http://www.humanresources.ucr.edu/default.asp?content=OnlineTools/UCR%20Mandatory%20Poster%20Matrix%20Feb%202009.html#Permanent> contain a list of posters that must be posted at all times.
2.	Posters listed in the Mandatory Temporary Posters for All Departments <http://www.humanresources.ucr.edu/default.asp?content=OnlineTools/UCR%20Mandatory%20Poster%20Matrix%20Feb%202009.html#Temporary> contain a list of posters that must be posted at designated intervals.
3.	Posters listed in the Mandatory Posters for Select Departments <http://www.humanresources.ucr.edu/default.asp?content=OnlineTools/UCR%20Mandatory%20Poster%20Matrix%20Feb%202009.html#Select> contain a list of posters that must be posted if certain conditions are met.

Actions & Responsibilities:

1. Department heads are responsible for ensuring the notices are posted where employees can see them in the normal course of business, such as break rooms or official bulletin boards. Please note that some topics have both state and federal posting requirements; each of the posters listed represents a separate, mandatory workplace posting requirement.

2. For more information on each individual poster or to obtain a poster in a language not available via this website, contact the agency listed under the Governing Body column by clicking on the title.

3. Departments are required to download, print and post all applicable mandatory posters and submit a Mandatory Workplace Postings Certification Form <http://www.humanresources.ucr.edu/OnlineTools/docs/MandatoryWorkplacePostingsForm.doc> to Heidie Rhodes in the Human Resources department by April 1st of each year, beginning April 1, 2009. To download a poster, click on the title of the desired poster.

4. Organizational units may request that copies of the certification forms also be sent to them.

5. Human Resources will notify the campus of any new or revised posters that are considered mandatory and require posting.

Please feel free to forward your comments/questions to Heidie Rhodes @ heidie.rhodes at ucr.edu.
