Re:     December 2009 MO Payroll paid 1/1/2010

 

We received a few phone calls today regarding the roster cutoff date for the December 2009 MO payroll paid January 1, 2010.  The last day to affect the time roster was yesterday, December 16, 2009.
  

I think some of you forgot that the Payroll Calendar was revised in September 2009 due to the campus closure for two weeks.  The e-mail message below was distributed to inform everyone about the change in cutoff dates.  

 If you are one of the people that missed this roster deadline, please do the following before 7:00pm today (12/17/09):

.         Exception Paid Employees

o   Do nothing because PPS will pay an exception paid employee automatically.

.         Positive paid Employees 

o   Login to PPS and enter 'EDAT' on the 'next func'.

o   Enter "EDAP" (Additional Pay) and the employee's ID or last name, first name; Pay Cycle = MO;   Pay End: 12/31/09

o   Go to the command line and enter "R ??",  (?? is for the distribution number) 

o   Enter actual hours on pay status and press "F5" to update.

Note:  You can also accomplish the same goal by using screen "EDLR"(Late/Reduce Pay)


This is the only way to  pay the employee on tonight's (12/17) compute.  If you have any questions/comments, please contact us at x-3307.

PPS Users,

 

The UCR Payroll Calendar has been modified as a result of the recent announcement that the campus will be closed from December 19, 2009 through January 3, 2010.

December 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30 will be furlough days for non-represented & represented staff/academic participating in the salary reduction/furlough plan.  Employees not participating in the furlough plan may use accrued vacation, compensatory time off, or leave without pay. As in the past, December 24, 25, 31 and January 1, 2010 are paid University holidays.
