[Poscgrad] POSC 210 to be offered in Spring 2026

Dear POSC grads, 

I am writing to let you know that I will be offering POSC 210, Qualitative-Interpretive Research Methods for social science, in Spring 2026. This course broadens the methodological training offered by the department so that students are more fully aware of the possible approaches they might use for their own research. The course will cover the primary qualitative-interpretive methods used by researchers in the social sciences, including interviews, ethnography, participant observation, archival research and more, as well issues of research ethics, and IRB. A provisional (i.e. draft) syllabus is attached below.
