[Poscgrad] Speaker Series: Prof. Jonathan Homola, May 11

Dear all,

The Department of Political Science will be hosting Professor Jonathan
Homola (UCLA) on *Monday, May 11*.

Professor Homola uses quantitative methods to study political
representation and electoral behavior, with a focus on xenophobia, support
for right-wing extremism, and gender and politics across Western
democracies and Eastern Europe. Learn more about his research HERE

Professor Homola will be presenting his paper, “Does Mandatory Voter ID
Suppress Turnout? Empirical Evidence from the UK Voter ID Reform.” The talk
will take place from *12:10 PM–1:30 PM* in *INTS 1113.  *Please see the
attached flyer for additional details.

There will be a meeting with graduate students at 3:30 pm (up to three
students). If you would like to meet with Professor Homola, please send me
an email no later than *Monday May 4*.
