[Poscgrad] Reminder: Job Talk and Recruitment Day Today!

Greetings, everyone!

This is a quick reminder that today, Friday, April 10 is an especially
important and active day for the department, with two major events taking
place:

*1. Job Talk – Professor Tyler Reny *
Professor Reny will present from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM in INTS 1113. We
strongly encourage in-person attendance if you are available, as these
visits are a key part of our faculty recruitment efforts.

*2. Prospective PhD Student Visit Day*
We will also be hosting admitted PhD students throughout the day. This is
an important opportunity to showcase our department community, and I hope
they will have the chance to meet and interact with many of you.

It is important to note that everyone’s participation makes a meaningful
difference in how our visitors experience UCR. If you are available, we
encourage you to engage, introduce yourself, and help us provide a
welcoming and supportive environment.

Thank you all for contributing to what is both a critical recruitment
effort and a chance to highlight the strength of our department community.
