[Poscgrad] How to access JOP articles outside of campus with VPN

Dear colleagues,

I believe that many of us have experienced issues with accessing JOP
articles outside of campus since last fall, if I remember correctly. I've
contacted the librarian we had in our Colloquium, and found a solution to
this (at least it worked for me). It was a technical issue, not that we
lost the access to JOP. Please follow these steps.


   1. Turn on your VPN and log in
   2. Paste the UCR link for this journal into a new Incognito window for
   the Chrome browser:
   https://search.library.ucr.edu/permalink/01CDL_RIV_INST/ji0j28/alma9914794023006531

   3. Select one of the Online Availability options for the journal (select
   "University of Chicago press journals" version)
   4. If you are able to access, clear your cache and cookies, go back to
   your regular browser, and that should fix the issue.


Let me know if it doesn't work for you. I might contact the library again,
in that case.
