Dear Colleagues,

After a long pandemic hiatus, we are excited to relaunch the Southern
California Political Behavior Conference!

As a reminder, the Southern California Political Behavior Conference is a
local conference that serves as a focal point for scholars working on
issues related to mass political behavior broadly defined (both in the
American and the Comparative contexts). This small conference provides
graduate students and faculty interested in political behavior with an
excellent opportunity to present work in progress and network with other
scholars based in Southern California.

The Southern California Political Behavior Conference will be held at
the *University
of California, Riverside* on *June 2, 2023*.

If you wish to propose a paper (or research design) please register and
submit your proposal here <https://conferencebit.com/2023socalbehavior>.
The link will also allow you to indicate your intention to attend the event
(even if you do not wish to present) and whether you are willing to serve
as a discussant.

As before, the emphasis will be on constructive discussion of work
presented along with plenty of time for more general discussion and
networking. Faculty, graduate students, and advanced undergraduate students
are welcome to attend and present their work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduate students to network and to
present their work in a collegial environment, so please encourage your
graduate students to also submit proposals. Depending on the number of
proposals we receive, we might organize a poster session for graduate
students to present their work.

Given that email lists date and/or are incomplete please forward this email
to those who you think might find this of interest (especially new faculty
we may have missed and graduate students).

We hope to see you in June! If you have any questions, please contact one
of us.

Best Regards,

The Mass Behavior Group at UCR
