Knowledge gained from this study could inform institutions of possible ways to support Latine/a/o/x doctoral recruitment and persistence.

> You are eligible to participate in this study if you meet all of the following criteria:

> Identify as Latine/x/a/o or Hispanic, and
> Are at least 18 years of age or older, and 
> Applied to a social science OR STEM doctoral program(s) Fall 2021 (regardless of whether you are enrolling in a doctoral program or not) and
> Applied to doctoral program(s) Fall 2021 at any of the following universities: University of California, Irvine or, University of California, Santa Barbara or University of California, Riverside.
> 
> If you choose to participate in the study, you will be invited to complete a short 5 minute demographic survey and participate in up to three one-on-one interviews through Zoom which will take place 1) Fall 2022, 2) Spring 2023, and 3) Spring 2024. Each interview will last about 60-90 minutes and you will receive a $40 Amazon gift card after each interview. Participants that participate in three interviews will receive a total of $120 compensation in Amazon gift cards.
