Dear all,
To keep you informed about some of the challenges we often encounter since the implementation of Impact 23, please see email below from campus about system errors and difficulties rolling over balances from FY24 correctly.
Although these errors will be corrected (as soon as possible by campus), they often cause significant delays in the reporting process. This means that reporting and reconciliation of funds may be delayed for everyone on campus.
Thank you for your patience as we navigate this "new financial world" at UCR together.

Subject: [Oraclebudget-users] Important Budget System Updates
Good Morning Oracle Budget Users,
I hope this message finds you well. The opening of the 2nd year in Oracle Budget is not going according to plan, but it's fixable and that is what we are currently doing with Deloitte. Please plan to check back later today to review budget data for FY23-24 and tomorrow to review budget data for FY24-25.
Here is a summary based on emails, tickets, and chats we have been receiving this morning:
1. Fiscal Year Default: The Oracle Budget now defaults to fiscal year 24-25. If you need to view FY23-24 data, please navigate to the correct year in the Point of View (POV).
2. Rollover Routine: The Rollover routine ran in error and seems to have altered FY23-24 rollover balances and posted balances to FY24-25, both of which are incorrect.
3. Perm Budget Process: The Perm Budget process encountered issues with the conversion of staffing BCs (salary, benefits, and GL&EP) and so they are missing from the FY24-25 Perm Budget.
We are currently working with Deloitte to restore the FY23-24 rollover balances are restored to correct the Perm Budget BCs and plan to have things corrected by the end of today.
We apologize for any inconvenience these issues may have caused. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to budgetoffice at ucr.edu<mailto:budgetoffice at ucr.edu>
Thank you for your understanding, patience, and cooperation.
Best regards,
Stephanie Flores
