[Physics-grads-open] Graduate students' interaction session with the colloquium speaker

Hello everyone,

We will have a student interaction session with the colloquium speaker Prof. Luiquao Liu from MIT, this Thursday, Nov 30, 2023 before the colloquium at 11.30 am - 12 noon in the Barkas Lounge.


Prpf. Liu's research group investigates spin-©\orbit interaction in solid-©\state materials through the spin-©\Hall effect or its quantum version ¡ª topological insulators, to achieve efficient spin current generation and magnetic moment switching.

We hope that through these interaction sessions, students can freely discuss anything ranging from the speaker's current and past research, their DEI efforts and activities, navigating graduate school and future career prospects.
