[Physics-grads-open] Reminder: Mentoring Workshop Kick-Off Meeting - Thursday, Nov 18, 11:15am - 12:45pm

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to send a reminder about the Physics and Astronomy Mentoring
Workshop kick-off meeting on Thursday, November 18th, from 11:15am -
12:45pm.  This meeting will be to introduce the monthly mentoring workshop
coming on behalf of the Graduate Mentoring Committee in the Winter and
Spring quarters.  The committee will be introduced and you all can provide
feedback on what you would like to see in the workshop going forward.

This workshop can be a very valuable resource to us at any stage in our
graduate program and could serve to help students with comps, networking,
applying for postdoc positions, transitioning out of academia, or many
other things.  This is why I encourage you all to attend with ideas of what
content you would like to see and how you would like it to be presented
(guest speakers, open discussion with faculty and other students, etc.).

If you would like to attend,* please RSVP by the end of this Friday (Nov 5)* by
adding your name and whether you will be joining for lunch here:

Lunch will be served in the Barkas lounge and patio at *11:15 AM*, followed
