The National Institutes of Health will be heading to the City of Roses-
beautiful Portland, Oregon next month.  Except for a visit to NIH, there is
not another opportunity like the NIH Regional Seminar to learn from and
share with approximately 30 NIH/HHS policy, review, program, & grants
management experts.

through June 4 and $475 beginning June 5; the opportunity to learn from and
interact with peers and the NIH (priceless).  This non-refundable fee
includes the cost of registration, conference proceedings, conference
materials, two continental breakfasts and lunch meals, coffee breaks, and a
reception to be held Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Marriott.  The fee does
not include your hotel room; however, a conference rate has been

for a ½ day session and space is limited.  Your choice of two sessions on
either eRA electronic Application Submission or Account Administration
Basics/Post-Submission Functionality.  If you are unable to obtain a seat in
the workshop, don’t fret
there will be ample opportunities throughout the
seminar to visit with eRA experts to get your questions answered.

 

Who should attend?  The NIH Regional Seminars are designed for those new to
the NIH grants process, including sponsored project office and departmental
administrators, investigators, grant writers, graduate students, post-docs,
etc.  

 

As a grants administrator or investigator, we are hoping that you will not
only consider this opportunity for yourself, but share it with others in
your institution who you feel could benefit from an event such as this one –
new and/or early stage investigators, as well as administrators trying to
better understand the NIH grants process and policies.
