The November issue of the Federal Grants News is available on the Managing
Federal Grants website. In addition, the Fall update of the Guide to
Managing Federal Grants for Colleges and Universities has been posted to
this website. The Fall update includes a new section, "Administering
International Subawards," revised content on biosafety regulations and
updates to the lists of select agents, and updated coverage of export
controls. A complete listing of all sections that have been revised with
this update is available from the Managing Federal Grants web site under the
Latest Changes in Web Site link located near the bottom of the left column

Access to the Managing Federal Grants Web Site, which includes Federal
Grants News (including back issues), "A Guide to Managing Federal Grants for
Colleges and Universities," and Federal Agency Daily is provided through the
Sponsored Programs homepage on the Office of Research website at
http://or.ucr.edu/SP/index.aspx. It is also available in the C&G User Group
section of the Sponsored Programs homepage (the link is located on the left
sidebar - http://or.ucr.edu/SP/UsersGroup/default.aspx). Complete
instructions for accessing the Managing Federal Grants web site are provided
on these web pages.

Please note that the username and the password for the Managing Federal
Grants Web Site must not be shared with individuals who are not UCR
employees. This means that they cannot be shared with employees from other
UC campuses or locations. Sharing of the username and password will void
the campus' copyright license and result in the cancellation of our
subscription. The definition of UCR employees includes those individuals
who have approved "without salary" appointments.
