Dear Faculty,
To help streamline the process for requesting keys, we are rolling out a
new *Key Request Form*. This new process is designed to ensure requests are
handled more efficiently and that email requests do not get buried or
overlooked. It will allow requests and approvals to be submitted and
tracked within the system, which should help speed up processing times. In
addition, it will allow us to generate reports for tracking and
record-keeping purposes and provide the opportunity for back ups. We are
also splitting the workload between Joey and Hugar (Hugar will handle
Biochemistry requests and Joey will fulfill all others).
Moving forward, we ask that all key requests be submitted using this form
rather than by email. This will help us ensure requests are routed
correctly and processed as quickly as possible.
I hesitate to enforce another form, but do feel it will enhance the overall
experience for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation as we implement
this improved process. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach
out.
