Good morning everyone,

I have received some concerns regarding the difficulty in reading the paper I sent out given that it hasn’t been through copyediting. I apologize for changing the paper the day before reading group but we will save that previous paper for another week once it has been through copyediting. Tomorrow we will instead discuss this paper by Hopkins et al regarding drought legacy interactions with wildfire’s effect on soil microbial communities in a mediterranean-type climate in Australia. I look forward to discussing this paper with you all tomorrow,

The paper discusses antibiotic production as an adaptation for competition in post-fire microorganisms. However, forewarning it is an accepted manuscript that has not been typeset or copyedited so it’s not quite in its final form. I look forward to discussing it all with you Friday,
