I'm traveling to Eugene today, but if I get to my hotel in time I'll be able to join today remotely. Needless to say I'm extremely interested in Vagelis's talk. But if I'm not on the meeting today it's just because I am still in transit....

I have a conflict today so can't make the meetup, but look forward to attending future ones.

Oh that sounds good. I will have landed in Europe that morning but will try to join

Just a quick thanks from me to the group and its organizers. I’ve really enjoyed the papers. Thanks to the presenters, to Vagelis for getting vaccinated with me and of course a big thanks to Emiliano for organizing

Dear Logarithms,

Our next meetup will be this Wed (6/12) at 2 PM, in Bourns A171 or on Zoom<https://ucr.zoom.us/j/94346366729?pwd=dWkwSVdwcTFoVGlPdnhTdHlpRnV1Zz09> if you can't make it in person.

This is the last meetup before the summer, and we're going to wrap up the quarter with a bang💥💥💥 Vagelis Papalexakis will present some cutting-edge work using Tensor methods (mostly) for content-based detection of misinformation.

[Abstract: In this talk we are going to discuss a collection of recent works that leverage tensor methods for the purposes of misinformation detection from different types of content, including text, images, and website screenshots. We are also going to discuss important aspects of misinformation detection such as label scarcity and interpretability of results.]

We're thrilled to welcome our new members to Logarithms, and it would be fantastic if you could join us in person. With the summer approaching, it's a perfect time to socialize over a cup of coffee or something after the meetup.

Incidentally, I'll start gauging interest in meeting over the summer in person on Wed and via a "survey" shortly after.

Cheers,
Emiliano
