[Lilab] Update about Brian

Hi All,

You may have noticed that Brian has not been attending group meetings
recently. I want to let you know that he has withdrawn from our research
group.

Over the past quarters, I’ve sent reminders about the basic expectations
for being part of the group, particularly around communication and meeting
guidelines. Unfortunately, Brian repeatedly failed to meet multiple of
these expectations during the past two quarters. After multiple
conversations, he continued to show a lack of professional communication
and timely response. As a result, I concluded that continuing our
mentorship would not support his progress, and I made the difficult
decision to step down as his advisor.

I want to take this moment to remind everyone of the importance of
reviewing and following these fundamental expectations. These guidelines
are in place to help you succeed in your research and to maintain a
respectful, productive environment for all group members. If you're ever
uncertain about expectations or need support, I encourage you to reach out
early. I am happy to discuss and help.
