[IIGB_All] Important Key/Fob Authorization Updates - Please Read

Dear all,

As part of our ongoing commitment to efficient, sustainable practices and adherence to University policies, we are sharing the updated IIGB-CEPCEB Key/Fob Authorization Form [Click Here for Link]<https://iigb.ucr.edu/department-resources#building-access>.<https://iigb.ucr.edu/department-resources#building-access>
Please carefully review the following guidelines:

Key/Fob Issuance

  *   Digital Forms Only: For your convenience, the administrative office will only accept digital copies of the Key/Fob Authorization Form.
  *   Signature Requirement: To ensure proper authorization and policy compliance, either an electronic or wet signatures are required on the authorization form.
  *   Transition to R'Cards: As we transition to R'Cards for key/fob access, please schedule an appointment using the link provided below to streamline the process:

Key/Fob Returns

  *   Return Process and Confirmation:
     *   To return keys/fobs, schedule an appointment via the provided Calendar Link<https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0/appointments/schedules/AcZssZ1pBoLXkC-hMMJ9Hfaav48TK_SXsq6oSmndVYJyPS-kWfz4EQAfWw1yuo_6-SPNnvMeYZRLtyFn>. This ensures a team member is available to prepare your Key/Fob Authorization document for signing. Once your appointment is completed, you will receive an email confirmation receipt.
     *   To deactivate your lab/building access via your R'Card, email IIGBadmin at ucr.edu<mailto:IIGBadmin at ucr.edu>. We will send you a return form to complete and return. After reviewing your form, we will confirm the deactivation of your R'Card access via email.


Key/Fob Expiry Reminder

  *   Please note that your fobs or R'Cards, whichever applies, will expire every September 30th. Your corresponding Principal Investigators (PIs) will receive an email with instructions on renewing your access.
