Dear IIGB Colleagues,

We are in desperate, time-sensitive need of using an ultracentrifuge for generating a biological replicate for one of our ongoing experiment. We used to have access to an ultracentrifuge that is no longer available. We have find one functional and just serviced ultracentrifuge (Beckman L8-70M machine that will take most (if not all) standard Beckman rotors) that could worked for us but we don’t have access to the right rotor.

I was wondering if any of you would have access and would be willing to share their swinging bucket # SW 41 Ti rotor. This issue is substantially delaying the progress of one of the student in the lab and any of your help will be very much appreciated. We do understand that in the time of COVID-19, sharing equipment can be challenging but our lab follow strict COVID-19 CDC and University rules and we will make sure we take really good care of the rotor. We will also disinfect anything that we will touch!

Thank you so much for your help,

Best,

Karine Le Roch
