[HWS-announcements] Help Keep Highlanders Healthy – Share the UCR Flu Prevention Kit

Dear Campus Partners,

As we are in the flu season, we invite you to join us in keeping our
Highlander community healthy and thriving. *The Well and Student Health
Services* have created a *UCR Highlander Flu Prevention Kit*, a quick,
student-centered guide filled with practical, evidence-based tips to
prevent illness and promote wellness on campus.

The kit includes:

   -

   Steps to prevent the flu and other respiratory illnesses
   -

   Myths and facts about the flu vaccine
   -

   A personal wellness checklist
   -

   Information on where and how students can get their *flu vaccine at the
   Student Health Center*
   -

   Resources for free protective gear available on campus

We encourage you to share this resource with your students, staff, and
networks — especially in classrooms, lounges, and department newsletters.
Staying healthy is a team effort, and your support helps ensure that
students can stay well and focused throughout the quarter.

*The Flu Vaccine is free to those with UC Ship. Without insurance it is $40
(more information can be found in the kit and on the SHS website.)
