Greetings from the Graduate Students in English
Association!

(dis)junctions is the annual graduate student
conference hosted by the English Department, and we
want to extend invitations to all graduate students
on campus to submit abstracts and proposals for
performance pieces for consideration. This year's
theme is "States of Crisis." You can find the
general call for papers attached in PDF format. If
you have problems opening the attachment, please
visit the (dis)junctions website by following the
link provided below.

We are seeking participation from graduate students
representing a wide range of scholarship. The
conference is free for participants and open to the
public, and we will accept submissions of relevant
abstracts and performance piece proposals from
domestic and international graduate students
currently enrolled in any graduate program in any
field of study. This is a conference run by graduate
students for graduate students, and it will provide
a great opportunity for networking and
professionalization.

Abstracts and performance proposals are due by March
5, 2010.

Include your contact information, the name of your
school, and your department or area of study with
your abstract.

We are also accepting donations of departmental
space, money, and goods (especially food, beverages,
and utensils/plates/napkins ), and we can always use
volunteers to help out during the conference. All
donations and help will be given recognition in the
conference programs. If you are able to provide aid
in any form, please contact the coordinators of the
conference via the e-mail address provided above.
