[Gradstudents] Candidates Visits: Associate Professor/Professor of Teaching, and Ed.D. Director, K-12 Educational Leadership for Racial Equity and Justice

Dear SOE Graduate Students,

The School has invited candidates for the Associate Professor/Professor of Teaching, and Ed.D. Director, K-12 Educational Leadership for Racial Equity and Justice openings to visit in the next week. As part of the interview process, you are invited to attend to ask the candidates questions. This opportunity has two benefits - you get a voice in the hiring process of new faculty, and you can also experience/learn more about the faculty hiring process for your own future professional development.

Schedule for graduate student meetings
Monday, 3/11 3:15-4:00 p.m. meeting with Candidate Dr. Miguel Zavala
Wednesday, 3/13 2:45-3:30pm meeting with Candidate Abiola Farinde
Thursday, 3/14 3:15-4:00pm meeting with Candidate James Wright

In addition to the designated student meetings, the candidates are also conducting a seminar on their research/expertise. Please find the schedule below for more details, and RSVP using the attached calendar invitations.

Wednesday, 3/13 at 11am (Sproul 1215 or Zoom) seminar with Candidate Abiola Farinde: "Dreamed, Researched, and Loved: Visioning the Educational Leadership for Racial Equity and Justice Ed.D. Program"
Thursday, 3/14 at 11am seminar with Candidate James Wright: title/details forthcoming
