UC Berkeley School of Education's Research Day Conference



Research Day is an annual conference hosted by the UC Berkeley School of Education that offers an opportunity for students to share their work with faculty-moderated paper and poster presentations, and interactive sessions. The submission deadline is Friday, February 23rd, 2024 by Midnight! Highlander Early Start Academy (HESA), UCR's Summer Bridge Program

Looking to hire 2-3 graduate students as Associate Instructors for HESA 001 course for summer 2024.

HESA is Session E, which is July 29-Sept 14 (we usually have a one day training the week before the program begins).  As a HESA Associate Instructor, the individual would run the HESA 001 course, which meets once a week for 1 hr 20 min.  It is an in person course that is pass/no pass, and focuses on the following: time management and study skills, communication and diversity, interpersonal skills and social capital, mental health and positive self-esteem, goal setting and navigating campus recourses. All HESA students are incoming first year students. We are looking for each grad student to teach about 2-3 sections of HESA 001.

Wheelhouse Summer Scholars


Welcome to the Wheelhouse Summer Scholars page. The Summer Scholars program is a funding and presentation opportunity for doctoral students (PhD and EdD) conducting equity-focused research on the California Community Colleges.



The Wheelhouse Summer Scholars Fellowship Award offers a $2,000 summer stipend to recognize and support the work of emerging scholars whose qualitative and/or quantitative research focuses on California Community Colleges and furthers equitable opportunities and outcomes for the students they serve. The fellowship includes an opportunity to received tailored mentoring, present research in progress, and receive supportive feedback from peers and senior scholars.
