Employment Opportunity: Program Assistant, San Bernardino Community College District

The San Bernardino Community College District is excited to announce a part-time job opportunity: Program Assistant to support the Educational Opportunities Help Desk ("Ventanilla de Orientacion Educativa"), located at the Mexican Consulate in San Bernardino. Position Details


  *   Title: Program Assistant of the Educational Opportunities Help Desk ("Ventanilla de Orientacion Educativa")


  *   Hourly Range: $20 to $49 (based on experience)


  *   Location: Mexican Consulate in San Bernardino


  *   Responsibilities: On a part-time basis, provide community outreach and accurate information about FAFSA, California Dream Act Application, and college admissions for undocumented families. Services provided primarily in Spanish via phone, email, in-person and online presentations, and walk-ups; fostering partnerships with educational institutions, government agencies, and community organizations; recruiting volunteers and student interns.


  *   Reporting Structure: This position reports to the San Bernardino Community College District Associate Vice Chancellor of Government Relations and Strategic Communications.
