[Gradstudents] Professional Opportunity: UCR Grad Slam

Good morning everyone!

This is Leah Stiff from the APRO office within Grad Division. We are gearing up for the Grad Slam 2023 competition and would love if you could help us advertise! We extended our application deadline to January 30th (Monday). I have attached two flyers to recruit grad students to apply. Students will have until February 1st to submit their preliminary videos.

I have also attached Save-The-Date flyers for the Semi-Final and Final rounds, which will be held live in the Alumni Center! More details will be added to our website as the dates approach.

If you haven’t heard of the competition, Grad Slam is an opportunity for graduate students to share their research before an audience for the opportunity to win up to $12,000 as a grand prize. There are also other smaller prizes. Here is some more information about the event:
