[Gradstudents] TA orientation & appointments

Dear SOE Graduate Students,

Save the date for the SOE department TA orientation Tuesday, September 12th 10am to 12pm on Zoom. The orientation is mandatory for all first time teaching assistants. Note: if you were a TA for the first time summer 2023, you are considered a new TA for the academic year. Please plan to attend accordingly. All continuing TAs are welcome to join.

Status of TA positions for 23-24 AY
Students with promised funding who will serve in a TA capacity will receive an offer letter by August 25th. The letter will outline all TA positions for the upcoming academic year including the class/subject and percentage appointment. Any remaining positions will be announced for non-funded students to apply shortly thereafter.
