[Gradstudents] Modality for Milestones - survey

Dear SOE Graduate Students,

Since COVID, departments have been able to offer a remote/hybrid option for milestone defenses without an exception approval. Moving forward, Graduate Council is asking departments for formalize the process by seeking feedback from students and faculty, then putting forward a recommendation on modality options to be published in the university catalog.

This is applicable to all enrolled PhD students, and MA students completing a thesis. Please take 1 minute to fill out the survey, which asks for your choice of modality (in-person, hybrid, remote) to complete the oral qualifying exam, PhD final defense, and MA final defense.
