The Children's Movement Equity Fellowship Program

Program details:

  *   Duration: 8 weeks (June 13th to August 4th)
  *   Hours: 30/week
  *   $16/hour
  *   Who should apply? College/grad students interested in outreach, kids policy/advocacy, promoting equity for kids, etc.
  *   Deadline to apply: Feb. 25th

UCR Associate Chancellor Staff Scholarship

Background: The Associate Chancellor Staff Scholarship was established by the Victorino-Clark family to support UCR staff members pursuing professional development through a UCR degree program. Christine Victorino was appointed Associate Chancellor at UC Riverside in 2016. Prior to working at UC Riverside, Dr. Victorino completed her master's degree at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo while working full-time, and then earned a Ph.D. in education at UC Santa Barbara. She has worked at colleges and universities across Canada and the United States. Dr. Victorino appreciated being able to begin her graduate education while working as a university staff member and seeks to support and encourage UCR staff members who share that aspiration.

Scholarship Amount: $1,000

Eligibility: To be considered, applicants must be a career UC Riverside employee (at least half-time) who is pursuing a UCR degree in any discipline, with a preference for those pursuing a graduate degree.

Applicants must also note the commitment of a UCR faculty or staff mentor who will assist with achieving outcomes reported in the application.

To track progress on outcomes reported, applicants selected for the scholarship must offer a progress report by the following deadlines:
a) December 31, 2022
b) June 30, 2023

Deadline: To receive consideration, please submit your application by February 25th at 4:59 PM. Please note that your mentor will also be notified of your application.
