[Gradstudents] Upcoming GradSuccess Events and Opportunities

Dear SOE graduate students:

Attached you’ll find flyers for upcoming events and opportunities in GradSuccess as well as the description for each below.

  *   The application for the Winter/Spring 2022 cohort of the University Teaching Certificate<https://tadp.ucr.edu/university-teaching-certificate> is now open! Apply before November 29th if you'd like to be considered.
  *   This coming Monday, March 25th at 2pm, TADP will be hosting an online workshop on "Grading and Time Management<https://tadp.ucr.edu/resources/workshops>" for TAs.
  *   GradQuant is hiring<https://gradquant.ucr.edu/job-openings> part-time consultants! This is a 10% position paying $20 an hour and requiring expertise in statistics and/or programming.
  *   And finally, Academic Pathways Week is happening November 1-5! We have a mix of in-person and online events, including a first-generation faculty panel hosted by Professor Flip Tanedo in Physics; panels on hiring with new tenure-line faculty and postdocs; a session on interviewing techniques with Prof. Annika Speer; and a workshop and more advanced clinic on academic job cover letters.
