Dear Ph.D. Students,

I'm happy to alert you to an exciting opportunity available to all GSOE Ph.D. students. Applications are now being accepted for UC-LEND, a collaboration between UCR and UCLA, to offer Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. Current GSOE LEND Trainees (2020-21 year) are Michelle Heyman, Giselle Salinas, Tyler Womack and Liz Baker. Last year's (2019-20) UCR Trainees were Megan Ledoux, Ainsely Losh, and Elina Veytsman. I'm sure they would be happy to discuss their experiences with you. As LEND Faculty I am also available to chat with you about the program.

As Trainees, the program requires class attendance one day a week at UCLA (Friday), with clinical experiences during the week (many options for scheduling). This year everything has been virtual and next year will likely be some form of hybrid program, but TBA. There will be a small stipend ($5,000) offered to trainees as well.

The application is on this link: https://www.uc-lend.med.ucla.edu/application/

Best,

Jan
