[Gradstudents] Memorial Service for Christina Cicchetti

GSOE Students,

You may have seen the Provost’s recent announcement<https://insideucr.ucr.edu/announcements/2021/02/24/passing-christina-cicchetti> that UCR Librarian Christina Cicchetti passed away suddenly last week. Christina had a special connection with the GSOE—so many of us have benefited from her expertise and unfailing kindness.

Christina’s family has invited us to attend the Memorial Service scheduled for this Saturday, March 6, at 6 pm. If you wish to attend via Zoom, please email UCR Librarian Judy Lee (judylee at ucr.edu<mailto:judylee at ucr.edu>) for the Zoom-link. [In respect for the family’s security concerns the Zoom link has not been posted.] The service is also being streamed via Don Cicchetti’s (husband) Facebook page.<https://www.facebook.com/don.cicchetti>

The family has decided on the following charitable organization to which donations in Christina’s memory can be made: Homeboy Industries, https://homeboyindustries.org was a favorite service program that she supported for many years.

Christina will be sorely missed.
