Election 2020 Postmortem
Thursday, Nov 12 at 12/noon PST
Graduate Dean Shaun Bowler along with faculty members Jennifer Merolla and Francisco Pedraza will analyze and discuss the 2020 election race.

Please join us for an analysis of the 2020 Presidential Election with Shaun Bowler (Political Science and Graduate Division), Jennifer Merolla (Political Science) and Francisco Pedraza (School of Public Policy)

This panel discussion will explore the implications of the 2020 election race and what it can - or cannot - teach us about the state of American politics. Why was the polling not better at predicting an outcome? 18% of Black men voted for Trump and Latinos were not as pro-Democratic as some expected. What do these results mean? What might we say about the results of the California propositions? Join us for this live, virtual conversation with UCR faculty.
