Many thanks to our presenter, Associate Professor Chikako Takeshita, who shared an amazing course project story map on Environmental Health and Justice in Southern California, as well as aspirations for a similar story map project to be focused on extreme heat experiences.
She is still seeking:

*         Input on creating a map showing the distribution of heat vulnerability in our region

*         Input on the feasibility of building a repository of available, locally relevant GIS maps

*         A graduate student with the expertise to create the appropriate geospatial tools. Funding is available!
