Hello everyone,

I was recently contacted by a UCR grad student in the social sciences who has collected research data for California and now needs to do some spatial analyses with it (mostly overlay). The student understands what GIS can do but hasn't really used it.

The student hopes to find another UCR grad student who'd be willing to provide step-by-step guidance on how to perform the analyses in either ArcGIS or QGIS.

Pending the award of a grant, compensation for the tutoring might be available!

Ideally, tutoring would start in earnest after Winter quarter classes have ended.

Please let me know if you or someone you know might be interested.

Best,

Janet Reyes
