Thanks to all who attended! We had several new folks, from UCR and beyond - we're glad you stopped in, and hope to see you again.

Our thanks to Sara Bruene, a UCR grad student in Sociology, for sharing her work-in-progress on assessing how grocery delivery service areas correspond to food deserts in California. Sara, we'll look forward to hearing about your results!

The next Geospatial/GIS meetup will be on Tuesday, October 20. If you have something to present at that meetup, or if you have a particular topic you'd like us to discuss, please let me know!
