Good Afternoon,

I’m thrilled to announce that, following our expansion to include
Nematology, we now have a fully staffed ENcore Admin Unit! 🎉

Please join me in welcoming and congratulating @Valeria Munguia
<valeriam at ucr.edu> our new Front Desk Administrative Assistant!

*Fun Facts About Valeria... aka Val! *

For the past five years, Val has worked at Loma Linda University Children’s
Hospital, where she developed a strong background in administrative
coordination, scheduling, event support, procurement, and financial
processes. She also brings valuable experience working with systems such as
Oracle and Concur, making her a wonderful addition to our administrative
team.

Outside of work, Val loves spending time with her two dogs, a French
Bulldog and a Golden Retriever, AND her soon-to-be husband! They’ll be
saying “I do” in March 2027!! 💍
In her free time, she enjoys staying active - especially going to the gym
and doing Pilates.

Please join me in welcoming Val! We’re so excited to have her join our team
and look forward to all she will bring to the department. Feel free to stop
by the office and say Hi!

*In other news* - Gian is currently out on leave but the team has quickly
stepped into action to cover his desk until he returns.  If you have
