Hello

DPR is currently hiring a research scientist RS (I or II) position to work
in the pesticide use report (PUR) program.

Under the general supervision of the Environmental Program Manager I
(Supervisory), the Research Scientist II (Epidemiology/Biostatistics) will
assist in managing and providing oversight of the Pesticide Use Reporting
(PUR) database and will be responsible for planning, organizing and
carrying out related activities. The Research Scientist II
(Epidemiology/Biostatistics) will participate in moderately complex
scientific work to protect public health and the environment by fostering
sustainable pest management (SPM) practices. The Research Scientist II
(Epidemiology/Biostatistics) will be a key resource within the PUR Program
and will work independently or as part of a team to comprehensively perform
pesticide use data analyses and identify problems resulting from pesticide
use that have broad environmental and human health consequences.

The Research Scientist II (Epidemiology/Biostatistics) will also consider,
apply, and demonstrate DPR’s organizational values of Accountability,
Integrity, Collaboration, and Continuous Improvement when carrying out the
department’s mission and vision.
