[Entm-researchstaff] Lab Inspections/Evaluations- Main Entomology Bldg.- July 2021

Hello PI's,

EHS will be starting lab inspections/evaluations again.

Pamela See @ EHS (pamela.see at ucr.edu) will be doing them for us. She will start with the main Entomology Bldg. in July 2021.

If you reside in that bldg., you will receive an email directly from Pam regarding your "evaluation". I think they are moving away from the words "inspections/audits".
She will detail all of this in her email directly to you but wanted to give you a heads up as to what to expect.

The email from Pam will have details of your lab's training status to allow you to update any training that is incomplete or expired as well as update the rosters she has prior to the evaluation.

Everything is appointment based, so your lab will be able to choose the time slot that fit you (either if you want the lab to be empty or if you want to be present when she visits).

She will also include information on the email that she is fully vaccinated but will continue to wear a mask regardless any mask-mandate changes by that date. She will follow any sign-in protocols you have and will follow any disinfection procedures you have as well.

As I mentioned, she will start with the main Ent. Bldg. first.  I will let you know when she moves onto the other bldgs. in our department but will most likely be in August.
