Dear Department Chairs:

This year, RUSD is conducting the Science Fair through a website called
Zfairs.  They have approximately 50 projects in total this year (definitely
smaller than usual), and would like to have assistance with judging
projects on Tuesday, January 12th. The Zfairs platform holds all of the
projects and will allow for virtual judging, allowing judges to score
projects on the rubrics and even meet in "virtual rooms" if they need to
discuss anything.

Judges will need to register on the platform and then RUSD will assign the
projects they will judge.  Unfortunately, there will not be live
interviews.  The Junior and Senior divisions submitted video recordings of
themselves talking about their projects, which will be used in place of the
interview.

Please feel free to share with your faculty and grad students; I have
shared the link with our CNAS Science Ambassadors;

For the Awards Ceremony, RUSD will do a series of recordings and then our
Communications team will stitch it all together and broadcast that video.  *Let
me know if your department would like to present any specialty awards this
year.  RUSD will need to know who would present them, to coordinate a time
to have them record their part.*  We will also need to know their title for
the graphics. Here is their timeliine:

   - Judging - 1/12 (RUSD can have the platform open for judging all day if
   we need it)
   - Recording of Videos for Awards Night - 1/15
   - Broadcast of Awards - 1/22
