[Entm-beu] Fwd: undergrads and the ENTM 250 Seminar Series

Dear all,

I am encouraging all of the undergrads to attend the Entomology 250 seminar series. These are every Monday from 4-5 in the Genomics Auditorium. There is also a coffee half hour just before the seminar in the Entomology lobby. Please feel free to attend both, and this week enjoy some great cookies!

Why should I as an undergrad attend the seminars (for no credit)? This week you will get to hear presentations by two of our graduate students! Ever wondered what people do for their graduate degrees? Now is your chance!

In other weeks, we have presentations by researchers from UCR and nationwide. These are opportunities to explore entomological disciplines and see if you can find your perfect fit for the future. It is also somewhat like passive studying for your classes ;-). 

So don’t ignore the 250 announcements! You  are welcome to attend, and it is free (with food) ;-)
