Professor Sharon Kinoshita (UCSC)
Sharon Kinoshita is a Professor of Literature at 
UC Santa Cruz, Co-director of the UCSC Center for 
Mediterranean Studies, Co-director of the UC 
Multicampus Research Project in Mediterranean 
Studies and Co-organizer of the UC Humanities 
Research Institute in Irvine and the NEH summer 
institute in Barcelona, Spain. She is the author 
of the book Medieval Boundaries: Rethinking 
Difference in Old French Literature (University 
of Pennsylvania Press, 2006) and numerous 
articles published in PMLA, the Journal of 
Medieval and Early Modern Studies, and Postcolonial Studies, among others.
