UWP Lecturers winter English 4 sample syllabus

Dear ELWR Instructors,

Each quarter we modify our ELWR course materials to provide repeating students with fresh materials that will address their needs.  We have found that sentence combining is a skill that improves both students' grammar and overall coherence, so a sentence combining workbook has been added to the list of required texts for winter.  Also, to give students new readings and writing topics, Write It is replaced with Write It Review; it provides the students with the familiar process approach without seeming repetitive. 

The attached syllabus is intended as a template that you can reference as you prepare your own syllabi.
