Please see the below copy of a message that will be distributed to 
faculty via Scotmail this week regarding the use of iGrade, the UCR
electronic grading system. 

Your assistance in assuring that all instructors in your unit are
aware of the availability of iGrade as well as its associated deadlines 
for sign-up and grade submission would be greatly appreciated. In
particularly, visiting faculty and lecturers who may not be regular
users of a campus webmail account may not receive or regularly
review Scotmail and could benefit from a reminder from you.

Dear UCR Faculty,
        

We know each of you are busy with the many aspects of finishing the quarter,
so we wanted to take a second to quickly remind you of a couple helpful tips
for grade submission and of some important deadlines.
 
Feel like you would like to have the opportunity to utilize iGrade but
didn't have a chance to opt-in?  
Need a couple more hours to complete your grading? 
Well, it is not too late to use iGrade!
 

1.      Log in at http://igrade.ucr.edu <http://igrade.ucr.edu/>  using your
UCR Net ID and password.
2.      Select the iGrade option in the "Submit Method" column.  (You'll
notice that all classes have been preset to "Paper," so you must click on
the "iGrade" option to utilize the electronic submission.)  Please do this
for each class.
3.      Even if you already have your paper roster, please shred it once you
have submitted your grades online via iGrade.
 
 

Important grade submission dates to remember:
 

 

iGrade

The FINAL deadline to submit your grades on-line via iGrade is 11:00 a.m.,
Wednesday, March 26th, 2008.
 
*DID YOU KNOW -
.         If you have your grades in Excel, you can load your grades
directly from Excel to iGrade.
.         iGrade is generally available ALL weekend for grade submission
from Saturday morning at 7 a.m. through Monday night at 11:30 p.m.  
.         iGrade is generally available during the week from 7 a.m. until
11:30 p.m. when SIS goes down for scheduled batch processing. 
 
 

Paper

The FINAL deadline to turn in paper course reports to the Registrar's Office
is 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 24th, 2008.
 
                        
The Registrar's Office (1100 Hinderaker Hall) will be open during the
following late hours for submission of paper rosters through our mail slot.
Please provide your department with a copy of your grades should you choose
to submit them after normal business hours.
 
Friday                                      March 21
5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday               March 22 and 23                     8:00
a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
