SPECIAL REDUCED REGISTRATION RATES FOR EATON SCIENCE FICTION CONFERENCE FOR
ALL UCR FACULTY, STAFF, AND STUDENTS

 

To All Faculty, Staff, and Students,

 

This is to announce that we are offering special reduced registration rates
for "Chronicling Mars," the Eaton Science Fiction Conference for all UCR
Faculty, Staff, and Students until Friday, May 1.  The conference, which
will be held May 16-18 at the University Commons, is jointly supported by
the University Libraries, CHASS, and the Office of the Executive Vice
Chancellor and Provost, and will feature such authors as Ray Bradbury,
Frederik Pohl, Gregory Bear, Gregory Benford, David Brin, Howard Hendrix,
Geoffrey Landis, and Larry Niven, as well as a full program of academic
presentations and other activities.  For more information about the

This special rate is being offered so that the entire University community
will have the opportunity to help us celebrate the return of the Eaton
Conference to the UCR campus for the first time in almost ten years. Space
at the conference is limited to 200 and filling very quickly, so please
respond as soon as possible.  All UCR faculty, staff, and students who have
already registered at the full standard rate will receive an automatic
refund.

 

The new registration deadline and reduced rates are as follows:

            

            REDUCED REGISTRATION RATE FOR UCR FACULTY, STAFF
STANDARD CONFERENCE REGISTRATION RATE

AND STUDENTS THROUGH MAY 1
AFTER MAY 1               

 

            $50.00   All UCR Faculty and Staff
$125.00   All UCR Faculty and Staff

 

            $ 5.00    All UCR Students
$  20.00   All UCR Students

 

 A copy of the registration form can be downloaded at

To register, just cross out the $125 (faculty, staff) or $20 (student rate)
on the form and write in "Special UCR Rate of $50 (faculty, staff) or $5.00
(student)" .
