Dear Collleagues:

I hope you can sign on to this blog.  I'm not sure if I've 
done this correctly, but if I haven't perhaps some one can 
help me out to make sure this blog is up and running for all 
of us.  It's an attempt to unite all the campuses over our 
workloads - and to discuss the relationship between pedagogy 
and labor justice for us all.  

If ever there was a time to fight the power, it is now, 
particularly as the power want us to believe we are 
powerless.  Just think of the University's mantra:  budget 
cuts, budget cuts - while it hires a new President at the 
stunning salary of 800,000+. (This is still a public 
university, isn't it?) 

Please let us respond to the University's moral blindness with
some smart, sophisticated, and feisty dialogue about the 
world we inhabit.
