[Englecturers] winter Basic Writing texts

To: all English 4, English 5, and BW3 winter instructors
RE: required/optional texts for winter

In the winter, the whole texts for English 4/5 are the same 
as in the fall.  Basic Writing 3 instructors will be able to 
select either My Antonia or The Secret Garden as next's 
quarter's novel.  

All courses will be using Write It Review in the place of the 
fall Write It.

Sentence Combining has been ordered as an optional texts for 
all courses.  In the past, students who are repeating basic 
writing courses have benefitted from the sustained focus on 
sentence structure and grammar provided by this activity.
