[Englecturers] News about UCR Ph.D.s

Hello all,
 
I wanted to pass along some good news about two recent UCR Ph. D.'s.
 
Stefanie Dunning's book, Queer in Black and White: Interraciality, Same Sex
Desire, and African American Culture is now under contract with Indiana
University Press. Stefanie is an Assistant Professor at Miami University in
Ohio. Professor Carole-Anne Tyler directed her dissertation.
 
Sukanya Banerjee's book, Imperial Citizenship: Nation, Empire, and
Narrative, is now under contract with Duke University Press. Sukanya is an
Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Professor
Parama Roy directed her dissertation.
